Thinking of buying from  CHINA?
 
Here are four reasons you shouldn't buy from China and Hong Kong…

1)  You will have to wait 2-4 weeks for the item to arrive, and then it may not arrive    at all. 
   
2)  No matter what the seller will tell you, if you buy from outside the EU, you WILL have to pay 20% Vat and 14% Import duty.  So what seems a cheaper purchase will have expensive hidden costs.  Customs' invoices will be sent through 3-4 weeks after the item arrives

3)  If the seller attempts to aid you in avoiding these taxes by declaring the item illegally as a gift there is a high probability customs will impound the item. You will then have paid out a lot of money for nothing.   

4)  Warranty will be an issue if you buy from abroad.  If you're lucky enough to buy from a Chinese or Hong Kong seller which does offer a warranty you'll find that should a fault occur the cost of sending the item back is hugely expensive (up to 50% of the item value).
